How to test your camera PDF E-mail

Use the following settings to test your camera.

  1. Put your camera in the A = Aperture setting.
  2. Set aperture to F22
  3. WB = White Balance , change to the used lightsource.
  4. Set ISO speed low, to ISO 100 or 200
  5. Set Image quality to JPG fine.
  6. Switch Autofocus OFF.
  7. Take a picture of a light-blue coloured piece of paper.
  8. During the the exposure, move your camera!
  9. Analysis of the image, view your image in a large format.

After that, for example in Adobe Photoshop:

  1. Open the image;
  2. Edit picture;
  3. Set (Cntr_L) levels to automatic.

Now you can see if there is dust on your image sensor.
